I was born and raised in Ely and visit Ely with my California family. We all love to stop at Zup's and load up with all the homemade delicious foods. I just received my order from Zup's last Wednesday, a surprise of walleye for my husband and mock chicken legs for my son. Absolutely delicious! Thank you Zups!

My husband was born in Virginia, MN. His mother, Hedrena Lenich, grew up in Ely, and used to work at Zup's around 1940 or 1941. My husband remembers listening to his grandfather in the 50's calling Zup's and placing his order and them delivering it. His family moved to Ky. in the 50's, but went back every summer to visit family. We still continue the family tradition of ordering either sauerkraut or polish. I learned from my mother-in-law, Hedrena, years ago how to make potica and I have done so for about 45 years now. Since my 3 sons have grown and married, now I have to make 2 poticas every year at Christmas. I used to worry that someday when I'm not around anymore my sons would have to go without wonderful potica at Christmas, but I'm happy to see that they can buy it from Zup's unless their wives decide to try to make it.

My family has been traveling to Ely on fishing trips for as long as I can remember, and before we check in to our Cabins, we always stop at ZUP's to stock up on all our food needs for the week. We will be coming back again this year 2012 and can't wait. The Boundary water fires hurt us all even from 650 miles away where we live.

Visited ZUP'S while vacationing at Lake Vermillion this past summer. Just loved the sausage, so thought we'd try and order some. Ordering process was easy. Can't wait till they get here, can taste them already.

This past Thanksgiving holiday the team at ZUP's exceeded our expectations. My aunt lives alone and I asked if ZUP's could put together a Thanksgiving dinner for her, and maybe see if someone could deliver. The dinner with all of the trimmings and some soup was perfect. My aunt loved the meal and ate every bit of it. Pat and team, you made our Thanksgiving holiday. ps. The walnut and apple potica that you sent for Christmas was delicious. See you in the spring Dan

My dad was from Ely and even after many decades, we still continue the family tradition of potica and Polish delites for Christmas breakfast. Thank heaven for mail order! Zup's has the best of both!

We love Zup's!! We frequently drive the 2hr round trip to shop at the Zup's Store, in Silver Bay. I would gladly trade our two local grocery stores for one Zup's!

Where do I even begin? The class "eh?" customer service? How about those delectable dogs? When it comes to the selling of groceries, Zup's stands alone as the premier culinary provider of the Northwoods. Any competition will be shutdown faster than the Minnesota government. Because at Zup's, it's "people first, profits later", and they'll put their iron range fist down on anything that goes against this. Every time that I visit this grocery godsend, my approval rating goes ZUP ZUP ZUP!

Nice to see Zup's online! I will have to try an online order since I only make it to Ely once or twice a year these days. Love the mock chicken legs!

My grandmother lived in Ely from the time she came here from Yugoslavia and whenever we would come visit we would get Zup's Blood Sausage and now 50 yrs later I am still ordering it . She always made Potica and it tastes the same as Zups.

ZUPS is a gem in the wild. Absolutely the best grocery store in the northland. The chain stores and other small town groceries don't compare in quality or service. When visiting Ely I am sure to stop at ZUPS everytime. Thank you for taking pride in the products and services you offer!

Such fantastic service (both online and in the stores). Ordered pasties online today as a St. Urho's day dinner treat and they will ship Monday. Yeah! During the summer I shop at the Cook store, such nice people there.

My order from Zup's arrived today while I was at work. Needless to say, I was more than eager to get home. Had my own taste of Ely right in my den some 1300 miles away. Will surely place another order when this supply of quality products from Zup's is depleted. Thanks to Pat and all the crew at Zup's for making their products available online.

While staying at Grand Ely Lodge recently I met Pat from Zup's - endearing personality!- and was delighted to converse with him about the town and Zup's Grocery and Meats. Before leaving back home to the cities the next morning,I stopped by Zup's Market to pick up an amazing array of sausages, mustard, jerky, beef sticks, meat pie, and mock chicken legs ~ SIMPLY DELICIOUS!!!! Have recommended to all my friends - THANKS PAT!!!

Just received e-mail confirmation that my online order has been received and a ship date. Can't wait to have Zup's back in our house again. We visited there on our trip to Ely last July and fell in love with your products.

We are proud to day we've been doing business with this fine family owned business for longer than we can remember. Their courtesy and the quality of their service is second to none. I can tell you tales of delivery of orders to our home in Brooklyn Park, MN that you would only believe if it happened to you. Talk about going out of their way, above and beyond. They handle their business like a true northern Minnesota concern. Thank you all from our family to yours. You are the best.

Hello everyone, just served our final porchetta roast we picked up while we were up at your Cook store. Needless to say, we cannot get this level of quality down here in the Twin Cities. Keep up the great work! Bob
